Record-Breaking Black Bear.
Our Black Bear hunts occur in the thick of Manitoba's northern boreal forest, near the 53rd parallel, well away from civilization. With limited hunting pressure and vast landscapes in the region, bears have been known to surpass the minimum measurement required to qualify for Pope & Young, Manitoba Big-Game Trophy, and Boone & Crocket. The average target bear weight is approximately 350 lbs, with some bears exceeding the 500-pound mark.
